Im pretty satisfied with how things came to be. I mean lets be honest, there really isnt a perfect partner-- hye sung was a difficult character to love at first but he's basically a reflection of most of us. There are times when we want to run away, don't want to do anything, take advantage of smth we've been deprived of etc... but just like hyesung, we're given the chance to change- and we see that change in hyesung too (slowly, but its definitely happening at his own pace). And tbh in regards of this latest chapter, family is definitely important- but sometimes family doesn't necessarily mean by blood. It is sad that hyesung haven't had a good closure with his mom and dad yet, but we have to keep in mind that being stuck on crying and getting sad about something or someone just hinders us from actually seeing and loving the people who had been like family to us. I'm pretty confident that hyesung would be able to face his parents once more, maybe not soon but some day it will happen.
Though its true that there were parts that were left unexplained ( what really happened on the day of the first murder and whats k got to do with it etc) nonetheless, everything else was just perfect. Its odd but even if the story had holes, it still felt complete. Def a great read
