Kay usually i dont feel bad for the antagonist, especially if they're obtuse about the pain they cause, but I really pity persen. He should have more awareness and if he did care he would understand how he has been hurting her, but at the end he was extremely selfish. Thing is I kinda understand if he's been abused for so long by his father (the true villain) he clings to the one who brings him comfort.
I just feel bad for him, like I hope he can actually move on and hopefully rebuild his friendship.
Same and Fl is annoying me . Instead of explaining to persen whats bothering her and trying to rebuild their friendship she straight went to “ hate you” like her whole approach was just wrong man and she’s also stupid why would you go around saying u got a gold mine. the whole plot is like fl cant do shit on her own I hate when they make theFl need the Ml to defend herself or get shit done.
I like that the female friend DID have the best of intentions. I mean she went around doing it the wrong way by being agressive rather than understanding, but she did care. And yet it doesn't matter when her actions just hurt her friend. 'The path to hell is paved with good intentions' sort of thing.
What I really like is how no matter what she does he will view her as an enemy who discarded a 'useless' friend and whp tried to kill him. Again not quite true but it would be hard to change that narrative for him.
Im not too against her as a vharacter, but I really wish we keep this broken relationship because it reflects how she had hurt him before and because I believe she would forever seeve as a reminder of pain and betrayl for our MC, even if he realizes the truth those feelings will stay.
Okay why protect the half sister. I get she is innocent of her mother's infidelity but her actions are not excused. Much nearly causing permanent harm repeatedly. Or better yet why give her so much authority over her servants? Im sure the father/brother can have her isolated where she can't hurt people or give authority to the likes of her tutor to punish them.
I wonder if our protag is more of an antihero or antivillain. It's interesting to think about it in this setting where everyone is the enemy. The rotten society and the old highschool brats who would only behave worse due to a sense of entitlement and power.
Also makes you wonder what his original power was.
I dislike he obsessive type MLs who are domineering and try to isolate the FL, but i think i just found a ml type i hate even more. He crybaby useless type. He has options. The agormentioend obsessive near yandere type wouldn't hesitate to force problematic individuals to submit. Why cant this king do that? Just send an assasin and off the 2 parasites. Medieval setting so Medieval politics.
But seriously theres nothing i hate more than a character who complains and does nothing. Upset she's so competent? Better yourself. Upset she doesn't love you? Do your best to understand her and bring her joy. Upset that a corrupt official and 'saint' are truing to isolate your loved one? As i said use your authority cunning and resources. Or keep his country's promise to protect her homeland (even though it was really a veiled threat). Useless.
I was rooting for the FL who had the self respect to leave for her sake. She's worthy and very respectable. Too bad she'll get stoclkholmed.
On one part its admirable she wants to support the mediocre prince who seems to lack allies and is harassed by his younger brother's entourage (or if he is so competent the brother himself) but at the same time that's for the person he used to be. He has fallen prey to his own insecurities and has even mistreated a dear friend. I can understand wanting to protect who he was, but I also feel like she should move on and find peopleworthy of her loyalty.
Its been a while so i cant tell the exact chapter it changed, but sometime after kyoko met 'fairy prince Corn' did the art and direction of the story drastically changed. So my question is why? Its so different i really have to suspect if the author died and someone replaced them. It lost it's magic
Ill give it a higher rating than like 90% of the erogame isekais. Im not against the adult content, but it feels like the direction of those stories is too muddled. I like how this protagonist has genuine insecurities and basically body dysmorphia. It gives him purpose and something to aspire to
