Memories & emotions of the ML are at odds with the sponsor's - Sponsor is motivated to help FL reach the "true ending" where she will be granted one wish (allowing her and sponsor to logout) NPC ML wants to confine her and stay with her forever... I have a feeling NPC ML is the Story Board AI that developer helped create & which prevents them from logging out. Also an intern F'd up
