Okay so I get the comments in the past hating on ML for playing with her feelings but I also thought that he liked her from the beginning and only tried to keep a platonic relationship for the sake of her mum because her mum said something like making him promise to stay JUST FRIENDS with her. idk if I read that wrong or if I just imagined that ?? 0-0
