Just when you think it can't possibly get worse than her misogynistic family and her cheating narcissistic fiance, werewolf guy shows up and is trying to kill Nine. Congratulations werewolf guy, in a series filled with shitty characters, you somehow managed to become the worst of them all within just a few panels.
And I'd like to add how absolutely satisfying it was to see the face of the prince.
I wasn't sure about this at first (too much repetition) but the writing has already improved, I love the character's who are supposed to be good and it's just so satisfying to read.
Also, thanks to the translators, you're doing an amazing job.
Honestly, at this point I want him to tell the truth just because I want to know what exactly he is trying to confess. At the beginning of the story he was accused of being a scam artist but scam artists promise you something and then never deliver but still take your money. He did the exact opposite. He did everything he said he would do and didn't take any money from him. If Seunghyun said something like "I scammed you" the only reasonable answer from Hojun would be "no, obviously not".
And confessing to not being an actual sex teacher would be weird as well because sex teacher isn't a real job anyways. He's also never claimed to be an experienced sex teacher or anything like that. He just promised to improve someone's sex skills with a personalized plan, executed through sexual encounters.
Making a confession concerning the motivation could end up making Hojun look bad. Because let's not forget that they were both drunk and not serious about it at the very beginning. But when Seunghyun answered him, still taking him seriously, he decided to give it a shot. Hojun never confessed that either and he doesn't feel guilty about it. Blaming Seunghyun because he did the same thing he did doesn't strike me as something Hojun would do.
The only potential for a little bit of drama would be that Hojun gets mad because Seunghyun wasn't communicating his feelings (feeling guilty) properly or because the ex is manipulating him.
Overall, there really isn't a lot of room for a confession/reveal that causes a big argument. Most scenarios would either make Hojun look bad or stupid or would be unrealistic which is the opposite of what I want from this series.
Fingers crossed that it doesn't suddenly shift the tone just for the sake of drama.

You guys can relax, that's not what's going to happen. I can't read Korean but it's pretty evident based on the drawings that there won't be a big misunderstanding. Hojun goes back inside and keeps on drinking. They leave together while holding hands. We get a little bit of backstory (although I'm not sure if Seunghyun is telling Hojun about his past or if he's just thinking about it) and then they go to Seunghyun's place, continue to drink and then they have sex. The next morning they even kiss goodbye.
In chapter 22 Hojun meets the ex again (together with some friends) and they don't seem to be on bad terms although he could be trying to steer up some shit since they meet more often but even if he does, he's not doing it successfully.
I just read the first chapter of the official translation and to everybody who was as confused as I was after reading the chapters here I'd recommend you to read the official translation. At least to me, things weren't confusing at all anymore.
I'm not trying to insult the fantranslators, translating this kind of old-fashioned mythical talk is extremely hard. But since the first two chapters probably won't be replaced with the official translation on mangago I just wanted to let everybody who is confused know that they reading the official translation might clear some things up.
Hello, the translator for the group here, and I totally agree with you. Even though korean is my second language, it’s really not that great with historical, old korean, it’s sort of like trying to understand Shakespearean but not as intense. Even as I was reading the raws, it wasn’t too evident that there were time skips within the story, only until I read a synopsis and heard from others did I really understand what was going on. The official translation definitely changes lines to fit better in English and the fluidity of it, that us, as fantranslators, do not have the liberty to take as we don’t know what’s important or not to the story. So we do thank you for reading our translation, and we do hope you’ll continue to support the artist.
not the translator here but thought i'd share the link to the official translation sksk; https://www.lezhin.com/en/comic/imae_en
Chapter 16 spoilers
My heart melted when Seunghyun was thinking how the sex with Hojun was really good but not because Hojun is that amazing in bed, but because he likes him so much.
Afterwards Hojun's friend has to cancel their plans to see a movie together but Hojun wants the tickets anyways to go with Seunghyun (while still trying to act all cool which just makes him cuter).
They go see the movie and Hojun tries to go through with his plan of acting more manly by ordering a stronger coffee which he, of course, didn't like (that scene was adorable).
The movie they watch is an artsy film with a guy as the main character Seunghyun knows, but doesn't want to see (his ex I think) and because it was a special screening, the cast of the movie came to the cinema. So obviously his ex recognized and talked to him.
Which means the rival has entered the stage.
Just as a warning, chapter 40 will be the last one (unless there are extras or a side story. The final chapter was released this week so I'm not sure about it).
Spoilers
I can't read Korean but it's pretty obvious that it's a happy end. It also doesn't look like there was any real drama about Seunghyun not being an actual sex teacher, just a little bit of drama involving his ex but nothing major. Oh, and more steamy sex scenes with great butts.
Spoilers
Hojun realized he has feelings for Seunghyun and is now trying to become more manly in order to win him over (he's just adorable in that scene). Meanwhile Seunghyun is drinking with his friends feeling guilty while also trying to figure out how to hit on Hojun since he also realized he wants more.
Overall, very cute and wholesome again.
i’m not OP, so excuse my hopping in for a sec, but the manga is currently up to date for the english ver, so there’s not much else to spoil. but you can find the raws here:

my korean isn’t that good but it’s mostly just

them getting closer and closer and catching feelings, until recently one of them finally confessed. and hojun said he needed some time to think, and theeeen, you’ll find out if you read the raws!
In case anybody's wondering. The vampire from this chapter first showed up in chapter 15 and 16.
Thank you for the info.. I just almost want to ask if anybody remember which chapter it is..
