Stop asking other groups to pick this up. This was dropped because it'll get an official translation soon. No serious translation group picks up a series that is officially licensed, that's how we ended up with those horrible translations.
Just wait until the official translation is uploaded here and stop begging people to pick this up.
I've never said that no licensed manga has a fantranslation. But most good translation groups don't translate something that is licensed unless it's extremely popular. I've said it before but nobody knows if the translation will even be available worldwide. It has happened before that English translations are only available in certain countries. If that happens with Dear Door then I have to rely on mangago. And if all this site has are horrible translations that are barely readable then everybody who doesn't have access to the official translation is fucked. I've also never seen mangago replacing fantranslations with official ones. There are a lot of webcomics with official translations that have a few horrible fantranslations mixed in between that never got replaced.
All I want is to read this series. Once the official translation is out and it's available worldwide, the fans can upload as many horrible translations on here as they want. If people don't care about the quality of the translation and just want to know what's going on they can simply look at the raws and ask those who can read the raws for a summary. At least like this you don't risk taking the opportunity to actually read the series away from those who would rather wait a little bit than to read a horrible translation.
na i think mangago deleted them because of the scan, here u can read everything http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/8192137/
You either replied to the wrong topic or you didn't quite understand what I meant. The actual translator, Dolce Dream Scans, dropped it because it was announced it would get an official translation. Later on, toxicscans picked it up because they didn't care. But they were also horrible at translating it. And this is the kind of quality we usually get when an already licensed webcomic gets translated by fans. So I asked people to stop begging for somebody else to pick it up because chances are, we would just end up with garbage translations again.
Thank god the bad translation are gone. As of right now we don't know where the official translation will be available. It has happened before that a translation ended up being region locked which would probably make it impossible for many people to buy it. There has also never been a case (as far as I know) of mangago replacing fantranslations with official ones so if those translations had stayed here and the official translation ends up being region-locked, the only chance for people like me to read it would've been through those bad translations.
And no, I'm not grateful that somebody translated it. When the translation is this bad you're only making things for those who actually want to read it worse and you're making the author look bad.
I like reading it but sometimes I wish the author/artist would've gained a little bit more experience before publishing it. The art is pretty rough and the writing could use a little bit of improvement but it also seems like all of the flaws are just due to a lack of experience.
I mean, the plot is pretty interesting, the characters are well portrayed and so far, the author has avoided the typical abusive seme tropes rather well and managed to make the development believable.
Volume three came out 5 days ago. I bought the first two volumes and I have to hold myself back really hard to not read it hear but buy it instead. At least give the author a month or two to earn money with the published version instead of uploading it the same week it's released. Volume 2 was uploaded here about half a year after it was released.
Spoilers
I was a little bit worried that Hari and Mr. Ahn are actually siblings and not just childhood friends but I'm pretty sure this chapter confirms that they're not (would've been weird for him to not say anything anyways). We also got full conformation that he is the one who hired Gale and his friends. He's also working with the police. I wasn't entirely sure what to think about him up until this chapter but he definitely seems to be a good guy.
Season 2 started today, so in case anybody's wondering how the situation right now looks like:
It starts with them running away from an angry mob of people who think they're responsible for this (they came just when they tried to move the bodies, which could be a hint that they're just unconscious and not dead). They hid for a while until two exorcists show up, telling them that they've been searching for them for a while now. That means not everybody is dead and until I see solid conformation that the second couple is dead, I won't believe that they actually are.
From what I can tell, chapter 12 will be the last regular chapter, followed by three specials (the author announced a Q&A and said that there will be three specials and the last one will be uploaded on 10/22).
I was really hoping for it to be longer tbh but it was still nice.
And if anybody's wondering how the main story ended.
Spoilers ahead....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Haeun failed his exam but then he heard about the gay novel contest held by the bookstore owner and puts all his energy into writing a novel. He wins and his novel becomes very successful. They then want to run away in the middle of the night with all the money he made but Haeun's dad immediately runs into them. However, he actually supports his son's plans of traveling the world/country and earn money as an author and so they leave the next morning with everyone seeing them off.
Spoilers for chapter 16
I can't believe how angry just seeing Gale's mum made me. And he even had blonde hair in the flashback which only made things worse (the other mum being slightly racist didn't help either).
I'm also glad nothing happened between Hari and Gale. Not that the scene wasn't sexy but it would've felt pretty wrong considering her mental state.
Anyways, I know I'm completely biased here but I'm just impressed by how great of a writer Juns is. This chapter in particular was so well written. She really knows how to use the medium.
