That's because so many of them are drawn to look almost exactly alike -- what with their clothes being nearly the same, as well. The only reason I can tell two of the characters (whose names I can't recall) apart is that one always has little dark bags under their eyes as opposed to another who doesn't. And then the one kid has light hair. None of the characters stand out except the ML and MC.

i just hope he can eventually work through his trauma and realize none of it is his fault, that real love and affection isn’t the type of “love” he was shown and given as a little kid, and that with the right person he can feel safe to express his love freely without the fear of abandonment and judgement.
