Btw, Mappa animated God of Highschool, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan which are have very good animations and all these animes are animated on the year 2020-2021. This studio's goat. Also, these qre only the animes they handled on the year 2020-2021, excluding all their former animations. The animation is very similar to the manga/manhwa's art style!! I read the novel and in this scene, when Roxanna said isn't it better if you also lust for me like our oldest brother, Dion's response was "we know that's not going to happen" or smth along the lines. But nevertheless, it's very obvious that Dion likes Roxanna. Why would he be willing to die for her when he was—in the first place— the one who killed her older brother.
maybe it's bc of different translators and the word usage of the original. the version you mentioned is much much better!

It's kinda funny how the illustrator/s are/is making efforts for Dion to look less attractive LOL! Cause girl, they new we've been simping for a diff character . I know that he just came back from his journey, but from what I remember, I haven't read anything in the novel that mentioned how "distasteful" Dion become after returning (fr the long hair only made him hotter I literally SCRREAAAAME after I saw him UGH!). But yeah, we're now close to Roxanna and Cassis meeting again!
