It put a blight on their career, but at the same time gave them some breathing space in a situation where they were suffocated by expectations???
I can't hate the guy, especially since he openly admitted, voluntarily backed off from the kids, & tried to change rather than deny what he did.
I REALLY love how wholesome & human these characters are.
If the general populace / knightage / palace staff would just all accept the 2nd princess with minimal resistance given all the things MC accomplished.
I'm starving for a story were the general populace has some form of personal agency rather than be blind followers of whoever is in "charge"
I mean , seriously, who, in their right mind, prefer a princess who was MIA during the whole fiasco over the one who took command, forced the invaders to retreat, brought order & peace during war times, and makes good well balanced plans toward restoration?
.... I have a feeling bitch princess has some mental gymnastic prepared to spin all that shit & take all the credit, no thanks to the double agent knight oldy with her (screw you)
Also, MC better not be a doormat / have no backup plan. She better show some goddamn definitive character development with regards to being a royal. It's been long enough.
I'm not very smart, so can anyone explain to me:

- in the end, was Sylph's countrymen really under the thrall of Kanna & the mysterious pull of the OG!Story or were they just plain greedy & vindictive enough to use Kanna as a reason to exile Sylph?
- why was Kanna's punishment to tell stories for 365 days?
- aside from their initial friendship, was there another reason why Sylph was trying to save Kanna?
I want Lister, Lisbeth, and the current ruler of Khallak(?) To die to bad
I might be wrong since I'm not exactly politically savvy, but isn't it a huge oversight for a monarch to unilaterally end a marriage w/o first ACTUALLY getting to know the other side?
Like, he made an assumption as if their laws & culture's absolute & shared by the entire world....
Isn't that incredibly arrogant for a monarch?
Doesn't that indicate that he may not actually be a good ruler?
Am i reading too much into this???
If Ceasar's beating of Ruby started before or after her first marriage?
'Coz I think that changes the context behind his a abuse a bit.....q
So. Many. Goddamn. Red Flags.
Something is DEFINITELY gonna happen in the east.....
There was another missing sibling wasn't there?
It also not completely verified yet if their hypothesis on the Eastern King is correct.....
Aaahhh! I'm scared!)
But it felt like S Class Girl selfishly imposed an image of her own making on Miko, and when that fell through, she just selfishly got angry / annoyed w/her
'Tho I do recognize she has a point and it helped Miko get motivated, but still. Their team just leaves a bad taste in my mouth
SIDE STORY INCOOOMMMMMMIIIIINNNG
Honestly, the world they created is SO beautiful & interesting that I'd LOVE to learn more about it, even if Mori is no longer the center focus
....but why do I have a hunch Jake will drop off Shingun in a remote safe house so that he can proceed with the mission without him.....
(Maybe cause that's the common scenario for these types of stories)
Fell for the trap.
Hook. Line. And Sinker.
It's pitiful, really.
For all the glitz and glamour given to him, for his position, in the end, he remained as a tool, spoiled by the illusion of absolute power and inherited authority.
Although, the devil's advocate in my mind is telling me, isn't it too obvious?
Easy to trace back to Tia, who planned the while event?
If she knew the consequences of slaying the beasts in the forest, why invite the most high ranking people to do the job and expose them to such peril?
Or maybe I'm forgetting some details
It was kinda hinted that Serie is a representation of an old era & Frieren is ushering a new one...
BUT! that was NOT how I imagine Serie's time will end.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not disappointed or anything. It just wasn't expecting that is how it'll go
BUT! it's still too early to tell. I wonder if the mangakas have something else in mind
But it says "tsu" "zu" "ku" (to be continued) in chapter 6......
Tho it is kinda hard to continued adapting an unfinished story.....
Knowing what's gonna happen is REALLY getting me mad at Hathor and her crony (I forgot what goddess she is)
BUT! I also know that it is something that should and will happen at some point (Seth has the right to know)
Moreover, Horus can't stay as a demi-god forever
The succeeding event may be *one* of the reasons that may convince Horus to become a god.....
One that happens, I wonder how he'll be....
Like Anubis who can only remember vague memories w/his beloved father?
Or like Osiris whose strong obsession defied the nature of ascension?
Maybe he'll be something in between.
OH HOW I LOVE THIS STORY!
They better confess to each other after all that!
Especially after edging us for so long!
I don't really mind that he didn't help at first
That he was a bystander
I can kinda see that helping Yeongwoo meant risking his life, like what was shown in chapter 52. So helping wasn't really an obvious choice for him given his background as a non regretful gangster
I don't mind that he has since changed, started listening to his conscience, and starts helping Yeongwoo every now and then when he can.
But what I WILL MIND, is if he EVER pushes himself on Yeongwoo
I don't mean physically, but more of actively pursuing / courting him to the point of hindering the progress of MC & ML's love / not taking to account that MC fell in love with a guy who loves him just as much.
IF MC is obviously romantically interested in ML, I PRAY that he's the type to know when to back off.
That'll be part of his saving grace.
But if he doesn't back off when needed, then yah. Fuck u.
BUT for now, it's still too early to say. We'll have to wait and see.
