Log in and log out are probably analogies to show that when they "login" they become new characters. The MC becomes a "blind" person and the ML becomes a mystery writer. When they "logout" they stop play pretending and show their true colors, I.e. a pushover and a murderer. It's all real life. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
