Lmaooo salad name I haven't read cobyb but as from what I've heard he likes to cause the fl stress/torture whereas for Caesar at least as from what's shown is that rough love is the only love he knew since he grew up with it, and also roses and champagne touches the relationship part later on most of it is based on solving the case which is interesting unlike cobyb where the main plot revolves around the characters relationship as from what I've heard again cause i haven't read it as for zhenya, again codename Anastasia has a plot and doesn't completely revolve around torturing the mc but honestly I don't have anything to say to defend zhenya in the slightest since it's shown he was a psychopath to start with.

i guess a lot of readers on here are into Mafia trope and possessive male lead
Zhenya is drawn to be extremely attractive and people often bring up how sweet & in love he is with the MC in the Novel and overall just ignore the sexual assault part

Caesar was already in love with Leewon and is doing everything to keep Leewon to himself and other bull crap

I like it when it's done right, one example would be down and dirty by John (he does confine mc but it's mutual consent kinda? also later on he only becomes better and has great character development) but more often than not they cross the thin line where obsession and possessiveness is expressed in ways that are criminal and basically become a burden for the mc.
