I'm starting to hate Isis more and more. She's such a b...
Well she was deceived , cheated , lose her power and become a mortal , suffered through seth's cruel reign and sacificing everything she has to raise Horus and she only needed vengeance for the one who wronged her . Is that too much to ask ? Also she don't intend to usw Horus as a tool but genuinely love him as her son ,something that someone with vengeance on their mind won't usually have
What is really disturbing with this character is her hatred toward Seth. I can understand she seeks revenge on him because he made her suffer. I agree that Seth isn't an innocent pure angel but what is really annoying with Isis is that, in fact, she covers Osiris. The author try to show her like she wants to get revenge on Osiris too but I cannot believe it. She's bitter after Osiris betrayal but to me she just want to make disappear Seth. Not as a first step for his revenge on Osiris but to eliminate his "rival" and gain Osiris heart again. I believe she's still in love with Osiris and want him just for her. For that she would destroy everyone who can be an obstacle : Seth and maybe Anubis. She acted like a decent godess with him but something seem wrong with this fake affection. She will sacrifice Anubis if she can. Horus isn't responsible but one day he will have to face the real nature of his mother and that should be bad.
I totally agree! Theres an instant where osiris "comes back" and isis doesn't show any recent towards him. Seth was blinded that's why he killed so many, but it's not like I'm forgiving him, the fact that he killed is something that is unforgivable. But the bad guy in here is Osiris, and I think Ra (which they are my favorite character) knows bc they just sent seth of the sun boat didnt dissolved his soul.
I really dont like isis and I extremely despise Osiris.
Before I started to hate her of course I considered her sufferings and everything she experienced as well. I tried my very best to understand her, but now I realize why I don't like her as much as the main character that's because she is pointing her hatred towards the wrong person. I do realize that both Seth and Isis were wronged and have experienced very very cruel past and that Seth was the one who took it in the wrong way by taking innocent lives. But coming back as to why I don't like Isis, it's because how can she let go and be forgiven if she herself cannot give it to others? She already know the truth, so she's fully aware that Seth was also a victim. SHE'S AWARE THAT THEY ARE BOTH VICTIMS. And yet, she's still hanging on to Osiris who's the main culprit of all this. I don't like people who tend to still believe in their perpetrator even though they obviously have wronged them. Please understand that this is my own opinion and respect it as much as I respect yours. And also, you said that Isis didn't not mean to use Horus as a "tool" for revenge. But I remember a line she said to Seth, "You used your body to achieve your goals. So, why can't I use mine?" In my opinion, her "goal" she's pertaining in here is revenge, and Horus is a byproduct of "using her body" for that revenge. I think her main goal is that to use Horus to get revenge on Seth and Osiris, it's just that as time went by she grew to love her as her son as they went through painful past together. Again, this is just my opinion. And, I would like to hear yours as well. I am open-minded and would gladly hear other possibilities.
Dissolving seth's soul is to hurt osiris . She wants to torment him thats why she must hate Seth to do it and she don't resent osiris cause of dumb love and hate Seth because of his stupid choice of a desire to save his son while not consider Isis's feeling with the whole thing and that ended up putting them both under a curse ,but why she curse herself too ?

I have a similar opinion with you! Even after knowing what Osiris did to Seth, Isis still continued with her revenge plan. And the Horus thing, I do also agree, because she suffered all those things to raise Horus, already having a revenge plan to defeat Seth. Just like she used Anubis, saying that she loves him to, but she just used him to hurt Seth even more. Her plan was kind of not accomplished, because Horus did started to realize something and did a lot to try and save Seth (I do believe the second season is their romantic relationship. Its incest but in Egyptian mythology, incest is a normal thing).
I'm open minded too but I started to hate Isis the moment she found out what Osiris did to Seth and still hated him, and absolutely hate Osiris the moment he cheated on Isis and raped Seth.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who finds their sex boring.
Nah I'm with you I just skip it lmao
Zero chemistry omg
