I like reading mainly bl because of the romance aspect but when im reading a romance between a guy and the girl, i project myself onto the girl and it makes the story a little less appealing to me. Like “oh why would she do that, i wouldnt do that myself” or the dialogue would be very mushy. Mind you the exact same thing happens in bl manga but......
