Hmm... well not thinking of a literal owl lol but my thought is probably drama and smut for sure as mostly bad or surprising things happen to the MC at night. Maybe the MC has insomnia (hence why they are a night owl) and they witness something they shouldn't have.... oh boy i feel like i could write a whole ass story now lol
