I’m sorry if this comes across as rude or mean that is not my intention but am I the only one who finds it weird when *straight* women refer to bl characters as “top and bottom” or “uke and seme” in bls without smvt (aka “shounen ai”) I don’t really understand why they are making something sexual when it doesn’t need to be. I mean if the story implied that they had seggs and stuff then I don’t think that’s that bad but for something like Salad Days or Who Can Define Popularity I think that that is just weird. Like just refer to them by their name or if you don’t know their name just say “mc (main character)” or “ml (male lead)” or “love interest”. Idk I just get a weird vibe when people do that.
