This is interesting but it's inconsistent. The character's motives and values change consistently and so do their actions, particularly with the the ml. It's hard to try and figure out what's going on, especially in the first 30 chapters the ML is weird and the MC is an idiot. The story struggles with the “show don't tell” concept, it tells us what a character thinks rather than showing. The MC should pick a different career and takes the ML’s actions as being an asshole when really the MC should've never passed the law exam. He wants to keep up moral high ground but won't be able to defend a client who he doesn't have the same views as. It's clear the career isn't for him and the narrative pushes it as though he is a good lawyer when he just isn't. This could be good but its writing is too distracting to focus on where it can be good.

I'm sorry, but I think you are misunderstanding a lot of aspects of this manhwa. I do agree the manhwa sometimes may feel a bit rushed, that's because it obviously cannot show everything the novel has. Even so, your review seems a bit one dimensional. The MC isn't incompetent as a lawyer, simply his priorities are not commercial/business law, whereas the ML specializes in business law and mergers.
The ML has questionable means to collect data, which the MC hates at first, but later tries to 'think' like the ML in order to stay in the farm, because he has to. Otherwise he will be in danger because of his brother-in-law. And even though at first, that's what ML wanted, later he really wants the MC to retain his idealistic view of the world and law, because that's just who the MC is, and that's who the ML loves.
I know everything comes down to personal preference, and I don't usually write such comments, it's just I really liked the novel. It was so well written , plot driven and a true novel. Not some smutty bl drama. So that's what I think. I hope you can read the novel in future and come to like it as well!

I agree with what OP above has said and what I'll personally recommend is to read the novel! The manhwa doesn't always translate well, in the novel things are more detailed and has more narration. Yoonshin does change or adapt his strats in regards to being a lawyer even if he doesn't agree to it. In the future, even Seheon notices this and says that he wants him to maintain that idealistic view coz he balances/grounds him

First off the debate over her body proportions is long dry. Her body proportions are bad, but I believe that distracts some if us from the fact her character is worse than her proportions. Honestly, this could've ended after 20 chapters. Every chapter feels like filler for a climax but the only climax is during smut scenes. There's no build-up or plot, and no character development. It's clear the author wants to have smut here and there with plot but that only works if you're actually moving the story along. The smut is good if you want to draw smut of weirdly proportion women and hot guys do that but there's only so much smut you can put before it gets boring. The fl and ml are bland and redundant the only saving grace is the ml’s pretty face.

This!! People hyped this manhwa all over my FYPs so I went ahead and finally gave it a read and I still don't undestand why it's as popular as it is. The plot.. is so weak. Even worse, it feels like the author tried to fix it by making the ML apart of some twisted rich family which lowkey, didn't save it for me. It feels as if I'm reading a wattpad mafia story from 2018 where the writer is using every cliche of that era. It tries too hard to be pwp but honestly.. it would've been better if it was just one or the other. I'm only sticking around for the revenge of the ex, I wont sleep easy until I know he's been tossed and thrown like the garbage he is. Then again, he's the only interesting thing about this story.

Her “friends” are not her friends bro they are fucking opps. Who tells their friend that if they don't have sex their partner will cheat and even worse that btc with overgrown roots and uneven bob w shitty layers is a weirdo who the hell talks abt some guys dick like that???? And Mc just letting them like ho are you nuts??! That's your childhood “friend” they are talking about. The smut is good but there's too much plot to ignore how bad the writing is . This is so ass

Bro is so quirky. I'm so incompetent and weird UwU I can't do anything by myself and is super fucking stupid merp! Bro pisses me off and the pacing is kinda weird but it's early so idc as much as I would. Its kinda of funny too but the MC is annoying and the points of conflict are stupid, but I think it's intentional which makes it pretty funny. Not bad but has the potential to get worse. (I've been traumatized by too many authors thinking they can write just because they can draw a hot guy)
You know it's bad when the keyboard warriors are in the comments pulling it the classic “you just don't get it because you just don't understand his character”. Be so fr its ass, admit it. I remember when this was coming out, and sure the art is good but everything else is not. You can make complex characters, fucked up ppl, and hell even rape in these but the way this story pushes it as though it is justifiable. The terrible things that do happen don't really push the story along and just feel as though they are put there because they need to fill more space. No one is saying that you can't feel bad for him because his backstory is “sad” however the author is pushing it as though it should justify his actions when it's not. There's a difference between “flawed characters” and just had writing. Unfortunately in this case it's just bad writing.
we didn’t even finish the backstory relax
we aren’t even halfway thru the story let’s relax… and everyone has their own interpretation ofc but I really don’t think the author is tryin to justify his actions by giving him a boohoo backstory
Justify how? The author is just showing us the back story? You can understand why someone ended up the way the ML did and at the same time still think his actions are wrong. Understanding is not justifying. If there's no true remorse, healing, and proper resolution when the story goes back to the present THEN you can complain about the author justifying his actions
