I read through some of the cmts and its revealed that ML decided to work in the MC's ugly brother's club cuz apparently he has more debt to pay(?????)

+the upcoming chapters r gon rlly be smtg...!

Ooh yeah i saw that raw but didnt realize it was debt related? Wondering if
1. ML wants to get back at the brother someway for starting shit
2. ML wants to prove hes over mc because seeing his face while he does part 2 is messing with his game
3. He wants to hurry and pay his debt now so he can stop part 2

Omg that classic boring trope of more debts. Ugh, fed up. Give us something new ffs

Wait, yoogun saw junghae during part two? I thought he was seeing himself??? My theory is that yoogun has some past sexual trauma and the work he does now helps him deal with it. I think when he was doing part two with the customer who wanted a “rape fantasy” (after the fight with junghae), he looked down at her and saw his younger self (I think it’s him even though the hair is dark - I’m assuming he dyes it blonde now). And I think he got so overwhelmed by that trauma resurfacing and the falling out with his boyfriend that he started to have a bit of a mental freak out. And that’s when he called the brother to join his club - maybe to distance himself from junghae and memories of him? Maybe he’s trying to regain control by trying to get his life back to what it was like before junghae entered the picture?

I don’t think yoogun has any debt to pay. Isn’t that like his thing - he works at the club even though he has no “real” reason to? Like he doesn’t have a sick mother or a loan shark after him, so the big question has always been WHY would he do a job like this? I think we’ll get the answer to that question next season.

oh and I think yoogun’s sister showing up also added to his mental anguish. It was a perfect storm for him. It seems yoogun will do anything to keep his job as a stripper/sex worker. He’ll even choose it over his relationships. It’s obviously very important to him (like I said I think it’s an unhealthy coping skill for past trauma). So…
1.) He has a fight with his boyfriend abt said job - now he has to choose between his heart (junghae) and his mind (his coping skill)
2.) His sister, a ghost from his past, shows up. She tries to start a dialogue with him abt their history and he shuts it down. Did something happen? It’s evidently a bruise he doesn’t want poked.
3.) And then he goes to do his job and has some sort of dissociative PTSD flashback wherein he sees himself in the place of the woman he’s “assaulting” - again, this is just a fantasy, but it’s interesting that he has an emotional response to this exact role play. Feels like it might have some significance…

Anyway, all of that combined sends him into a spiral. Then he calls the brother. It’s still unclear to me why he decides to join the other club. All that I’m sure of is that he was not in his right mind when he called. Man is fraying at the edges. Pls someone help him.

Oh thanks i thought he looked a little you g but i didnt peice together it was him and did a process of elimination. Wow that sex trauma theory makes a lot of sense thanks for sharing. I hope they get back together soon

People confuse me where did debt come from he said he had no such a thing and was different from all the others or I miss something

I swear I was initially thinking the same thing but trust me it’s so good, finish it. 100% worth the weird, creepy, gorey devastation.
