Now it make sense why the spoilers are confusing. It is because the novel readers themselves also find it hard to understand the story since it is very complicated. Most spoils are conflicting from one another. The english tl so far is still ongoing. So we'll have to wait. Maybe the manhwa will make us understand the story better...hopefully :3
The webtoon showed different sides of love: one that is selfish (yul) and another that's selfless (yujin). If you hate something, you'll unconsciously turn into them. Yul was bullied and his parents' upbringing affected him. That's why he's like that. He never wanted to become one. Both the male leads were imperfect unlike most manhwas. Forgiveness is never easy and forgetting is a different story. This manhwa is probably one of the most realistic ones for me. They all had the best and beautiful character development. Commonly villains don't deserve a happy ending. It was always death or jail as their ending route. But for me turning into a worst person is already a punishment. Nobody wishes to become one. I do think it's not impossible for a person to change. Through forgiveness, giving a person another chance, self-realization and change, yul had a different ending, a happy ending. There was closure. Lastly, we never fight our battles alone. There will always be people in our lives, those who stayed and those that are permanent who will help us though not always and free us from the chains of our battles. But the one who will decide to step out from the dark prison is ourselves.
I just realized after thinking that it is indeed a sad title. A stepmother's fairytale. I just saw on novelupdates it has a tragedy genre. Please staff add it uwu. Well we all know that in every story, every stepmother is always evil and dislikes children of their husbands, just focuses on money, fame, husband, and stuff. But this story gave as a pov of a stepmother. Their fairytale. Their story. That not all of them are evil. Some of them just really wants to love the children even not their own, to feel loved and accepted by them just as how the husband is to her, that with or without the husband they do truly and still care of the children, to not replace the mother but to become a parent who loves them as well, to see them grow, to be a family despite the situation of divorce or death, to make things work, to give the family a chance to be happy again. Realistically it is hard to accept and adjust as a child but what more to a stepmother? A stranger trying to fit in and hoping for a fairytale with a good ending to happen.
Petition for Shuli Pon Neuwanstein as mother of the year!
This manhwa shows that being a mother is more than being related by blood and don't even matter about age, either married or not. It's even more than just a responsibility and more than a mother. We can clearly see how she handles situations and familial matters. It's really rare for manhwas/novels to talk about family and motherhood. This manwha is probably one of the rarest realistic story ever for me. I'm rooting for her! Cheers to all mothers in the world, single or not, including the fathers as well!
I haven't been so stressed reading a manhwa like how I'm stressed at school lmao
SPOILER QUESTION
Did sovieshit knew that trashta's child weren't his? How did he knew and how did he react? Did he still raise the child as if it was his own?
spoiler
i read in another comment the other day that yes later on he finds out he’s the one who’s infertile and realizes his daughter isn’t actually his and i think he was full of regret for divorcing navier and stuff but still raised the child as his own
I mean, the people is definitely going to figure it out.
A mistress that was found to be pregnant right after being taken to the palace. The timeline of the pregnancy would be of. If Navier doesn’t get pregnant then it could be chalked up to a baby that just got a out a little too soon.
But if it turn out that Navier 100% wasn’t infertile after all (pregnant belly) and at least one person in the royal couple was, then they will speculate on king shit. Because in the end, it wasn’t he who had a pregnant belly, it was his mistress.
The nobles already think lowly of trashta and wouldn’t at all put it below her for having having a partner and switching to king shot immediately after or even cheating on him while in the palace. The gossip between the nobles will eventually reach the commoners and even they wouldn’t be able to reject the high possibility of king shot being the infertile one and trashtas baby being someone else’s baby

**might not be entirely accurate, this is just from what I remember and some infos are even just from spoilers I found in the internet**
Yes, he will eventually find out that the child wasn't his, I'm pretty sure they'll do a paternity test of some sort and when they confirmed that it wasn't his child, sovieshit was disgusted (not entirely sure but I've heard that trashta was set aside/disregarded by him so yeah he doesn't want the child anymore).... he desperately tried to get navier back especially since she had twins with heinly
*SPOILER*
Yes, but it's a little confusing, in the end when empress Navier is pregnant, Sovieshit start to question if in reality she was the one infertile so he began to made theorys and finally he will request a kind of test to see if the Trashta's baby is yours, how you can imagine, the result is that the baby isn't Sovieshit's daughter, Trashta will be imprisoned for this and a other terrible things that she will make and eventually she will die posioned but....*SPOILER* the last chapters in the novel that I read looks like in reality EVERYTHING (a exception of the marriage between ours lovelys Navier and Henley) was a plan of the Duke (Henley's friend, sorry, I don't remember his name) so Sovieshit will lose his mind and colapse sorry for my terrible english and I wish that this satisfied your curiosity, nice day
Thank you for spoiling
It's nothing, I wish you a pretty nice day!!
You too!
