I watched the series of this. 7 episodes only. 10/10. You should watch it. I haven't read the manga yet because I didn't know it was based on it at first. Just as all adaptations, maybe there is a difference. I watched it because the story was entirely new and interesting for me. I see a potential maybe because I was aware of the spoilers and I badly wanted to see how it will all play out which was all worth it in the end. The ending was good. Anyway this is the culture in Japan—cheating. However, the author has a different modern approach on this as Japan is very much traditional especially when it comes to relationship, women and marriage. Overall, it gave me goosebumps and I was crying lol.

Both couples are flawed, red flags. The marriage is very realistic. I love how they were able to be honest and talk it out despite it all (both couples). How they make an effort to start again, to do everything to maintain their marriage, and how marriage should be.
This story shows that marriage is not just about love and sex. The series convey a more in depth meaning to it.
But of course, it's still not ok to cheat even with the permission from your spouse.
