this kinda has gotten fetish-y. like, the author keeps putting him in dresses and cutesy outfits even tho the character wouldn’t actually wear this kind of stuff? ive stopped myself from saying this before but... yikes
there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. but it’s out of the blue, don’t you think? hooni has never in worn dresses in the main story. but suddenly he’s getting boobs and falling in love with his best guy friend and posing suggestively. it’s fishy, man. and if that’s what hooni wants to wear, that’s fine. but from a storytelling perspective, you have to build up to that (especially in a cartoon where he usually wears the same thing every day)
plus the author has no problem tweeting/ retweeting explicit material of his **underage** characters so... he obviously has no qualms with making this a sexual thing
they deadass need to sell this story to PBS and make it into a drama series. calling it a yaoi is a sin. this is a drama first and foremost... it just happens to have a bit of gay sex.
one note if you are thinking about reading it: the relationship is a bit toxic (I think on purpose) so just be aware that this isn’t what a good relationship looks like
this seems kinda fishy but idk. seems like a management team would take it down, not the author themselves
