i'm kind of looking forward to them getting caught so that they would already confront each other properly and settle their issues. because in their current setup, it seems like their relationship won't have any development

there are comments saying that noelle's a damsel in distress, no she's not. she defeated vanica. it's just that she didn't expect megicula's advent/manifestation plan that's why noelle was put in an advantage.

and it's already clear that asta is really significant in the battle against the dark triad and the devils. prior the battle, nacht already mentioned that anti magic has that much potential. and as megicula said, no human being is capable of using magic that can defeat them in decaying world. it's obvious anti magic would be the way to defeat them.

other readers' theory is that chanhee surpassed mujin (muyoung's brother) in ranks that's why mujin threatened or blackmailed chanhee to drop out. since the guy mentioned chanhee's overprotectiveness of wonhoo, what if it was wonhoo who surpassed mujin as number 1? so mujin tried to harm/threaten wonhoo but chanhee protected wonhoo. so mujin ended up fighting wonhoo which caused him to dropout? just a guess.
