tbh I never really liked horror growing up but the Scream franchise got me into it, and now I'm kind of a horror buff(still very new to the genre though). my favorite lately has been The Cabin in the Woods, it's more of a spoof but I like it. I unwittingly buried myself in a snake pit one time.
