Yes, she ends up with him. But this story is so goddamn worth it. I dropped this before, because of the comments of who she ends up with, but revisited it since it was finished. Everything that happens, and had happened in the past is explained. Everything. And it even gives great reasoning as to why she is able to look beyond her first life, and judge the prince as he is in her second. And it was a slow, delicate, and wonderful burn. She had trauma. Real trauma. That was recognized in the only way it could be, and it effected every action and thought she had. That is my praise for this story of redemption. And if you read it you'll see why I won't spoil further than this redemption. I only have two negatives, as no story is without them. Her father literally shakes her and yells that she needs to "wake up and get a hold of herself" after she was consumed by fear and reduced to an unresponsive state of shock. And it immediately works.. you can see why I am not fond of that method. The second, which spoils a bit, is that I would have liked to see more of Jieun, I want to know what happens to her after everything. She could "graspe" any fate she desired, and I want her to find her own happiness as well.
