the author is doing a terrible job of convincing the readers that the endgame is jo and ian with the way they’ve densely populated the entire current plot of taejoon and ian having raunchy sex and heartfelt nostalgic episodes of their past together. i’m not mad tho because personally i would commit treason to get to lick a drop of taejoon’s butthole sweat.
The author is actually genius. She perfectly convey the differences between both relationship realistically. You can also see the differences in their intimate moments. Everything has a purpose. She has included many hidden clue in the story but sadly most people couldn't see them. Her vision is too big for her readers.
i full trust and believe you moonchild. i think it’s easy to gloss over jo’s titular role in the plot because the situationship between tj and ian is heavily highlighted to the point tj and ian seem inextricably link, both past and present. however now that you’ve pointed it out. i feel that the depth of their relationship (esp in the context of their little gang lives) will the catalyst for it’s demise. i have hope for my sweet child joseph. i wish he had more screentime tho!
i mean…jaekyung…he’s mono-dimensional as hell (i giggle at his perpetual scowl and arched eyebrows), therefore his actions are quite predictable…i knew this was gonna happen .
atp i’m reading just to be like HA! i prophesied this!
so what if prophesying is that;
due to his stubbornness, he’s gonna be adamant about competing with his fucked up shoulder and that going to be his demise(?)…like that’s gonna be the spark that starts up his attempt at character development (and have himself possibly acquitted by the crimes of being a shitty male lead by the court of public opinion i.e the readers). like he might get injured to the point he can’t compete again…and because his been primarily characterised to think about nothing but his matches and winning…the listlessness and despair from not being able to fight again with be the catalyst for his “redemption arc”….
ik majority sort of disliked his characterisation but u guys rlly need to cut him some slack
i had an inkling that his hyper sexuality (and his inability to kinda process genuine emotions he receives) was tied to a traumatic experience he had as a child because honestly no one willingly put themselves at jeopardy by having very unsafe sex unless they’re trying to obscurely fix/heal/erase something and this chapter finally proved it. he may be haughty and rude but u have to realized he grew up as an adopted child and suffered child molestation from his guardian and he was told to SLEEP IT OFF…don’t you see how that can affect the psyche of a pubescent all the way into adulthood especially if nothing is done to deal with the pain and trauma from his childhood. poor baby. i can’t wait to see more about the relationship dynamic the siblings had with minjae when they were younger (especially the eldest)
oh the love triangle drama is about to get serious…likeeeee…
hajin!!! his development is soothing! it’s sad that he’s been changed due to his unfortunate circumstances of falling to the lowest social caste but it’s intriguing to see how it’ll affect his interactions with both namwoo and junghyun in the long run (especially when the three of them are in the same room lmaooo)
junghyun taking advantage of the master-slave dynamic to coerce hajin into a sexual relationship with him…he could do be better ( i actually thought he did considering the fact that he’s the only one who took care of ha jin’s maternal side during the whole predicament and execution of hajin’s father n brothers)
he still appears to be unscrupulous and self-serving mmmh…
also eager to see how hajin reacts to namwoo and how the dynamic of their relationship will/has changed now that their societal positions have changed and they’ve been apart for 6 years…
ngl i am very much invested in eunho and rakyun’s relationship…i am intrigued.
indeed like who's gonna chase who?
(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
or rather who's gonna fall first
