I get that, but since you said “…is capable of feeling happiness,” it changes the perceived motivation behind, and really, the whole meaning of that comment… because, let me give you an example, I’m a person who suffers from mental health illnesses as well, and if anyone talks about my *capability* to do anything… to just feel like a human, do human things… and makes it sound so exceptional and out of character, then it strikes as sarcastic and really hurtful.
If an author or creator makes content that is different from their usual, you would expect people to notice and comment on it, but it’s better to reserve it for the *content* itself instead a personal comment.
I get that your intent wasn’t to hurt or deliver a negative comment, but the phrasing changes it a lot.
