the ending was so disappointing and it made no fucking sense. why would you make 30+ side stories about this supposed secondary couple just for them not to be together? the whole execution was so … lazy idk. also you could actually tell they at least liked for each other so it made no sense that siwoo had this “secret boyfriend”. (i mean, it was hinted that they had something but at least i just thought ir was like a “got ya” moment) anyway i didn’t read the main story cuz i wasn’t really interested, but i was actually rooting for them.

it’s really upsetting cus the author did make it seem that at some point they were going to be together but they decided against it for some reason. (although it was the whole premise of the side stories) and me either i felt like a child trying to see what the drawings meant cuz i did not understand a word
i 100% agree but i would like to nitpick one thing. siwoo didn't have a secret bf the whole time or anything like that. the black haired NPC guy with no face was interested in siwoo. in the last chapter, he and siwoo come out of the bar after siwoo is done working and NPC guy takes siwoo to a more remote alley. he then confesses to siwoo. siwoo definitely wasn't interested and probably would have rejected him IF he hadn't seen dohyeok watching them. so that asshat just goes and straight up kisses the guy so dohyeok wouldn't think he even had a sliver of chance anymore. he kissed the guy just to fuck dohyeok over, he doesn't actually give a shit about NPC guy in that way.

anyway that makes it a whole lot worse ??? chahyun wants to make siwoo the good guy but he’s just as bad as dohyeok. i personally believe it makes no sense for him to act like that, the author was hinting throughout the entirety of the side stories that they had a mutual liking towards each other; but it seems like they were too lazy to give them proper development so that it would work, i mean, it would’ve been nice to see siwoo help & support dohyeok with his whole trauma (which was acknowledged for TWO chapters and then simply forgotten??? so why would you add that?) but whatever. it is reassuring to see that most fans are upset with the ending!

honestly if you ignore the last 4-5 chapters, everything leading up to them clearly hint at dohyeok and siwoo ending up together. at least everything between them was going at a natural pace. but after siwoo ghosts dohyeok it all goes downhill. it definitely feels like the author lost all motivation/interest in them and just wanted their story to end asap while also making dohyeok suffer a bit more to pander to the dohyeok hating audience. funnily enough, a lot of people angry at the ending are dohyeok hatere themselves, it's just they have a brain and understand that the ending was completely horseshit.
i don't see what reason other than loss of interest would make the author go for this abrupt ending. i mean, people clearly wanted more of them. isn't it more lucrative to pump out more chapters as long as the readers are interested? why miss out on extra money?
