The story is probably going to twist This so that they end up together. It's It's so nonsensical why would you let him be alone with you in your room at night? I knew she was not gonna stand on business but it's still very uncomfortable lol.
The duke is selfish and he only thinks about the love of his life at the cost of everybody else. And honestly it feels like a lot of other ML that I have read about except the story extended. Very selfish And they don't And they don't value human life they go out of their way to tell you That they don't value human life and you're supposed to jump for joy.
I feel like that could have been the current ML but after everything that has happened Hopefully this changes him. Being cold and isolating to everybody but the 1 person you love Is never a recipe for success.
And maybe I'm confusing stories but I could have sworn her getting with him caused him to have a miserable life. How and when did he have time to fall in love with her?
