I'm not even done yet but i got sm to say, i shouldn't have went to tiktok and watch spoilers bc i reeallly wasn't expecting the ending. the characters were so nicely laid out especially Mami, going against the norm and prejudice that many girls suffered and being who she really is, i really liked that abt her.
And her two friends who argued w Kensuke and Singo i think they were right but Kensuke has his own opinion too and its inconsiderate to just brush it all off, honestly i think the two parties makes sense but what's up w Singo? he's kinda annoying.
About Masumi i feel really bad for her struggling sm about self expression and it contradicts her own definition happiness, how ironic. That's why it was really hard for her to come out and i dont think she ever did. (alr im done w the story) Masumi got herself a GOLDEN RETRIEVER BOYFRIEND?!? omygod they suit each other. And moreover her bf knows so i think she's doing well w herself.
What bothers me is did Taichi went to Futaba's wedding? he didn't right? they must have gotten no closure. And I'm really curious how he ended up with Touma when i absolutely think he chose Futaba at the beach. There's just too many puzzles to solve, but in my opinion i think after choosing Futaba he kept thinking abt Touma (?) but he said they ended pretty well ig, so maybe after the breakup, some closure w Touma and boom ended up tgt. I really don't get it IM SO CURIOUS I WANNA KNOW AAAA KAITO YOUU!!!
Twas really hard reading it, there was so much going on, problems after problems but hey its teenage life. Especially when i just read boys run the riot before this ༎‿༎ that made it more realistic how expressing oneself can be pretty tough. I was pretty frustrated how they couldn't just confess and understand all of it but considering this was written way back i kinda get it. Compared to nowadays but still discrimination n hate crimes are still rampants so I sympathize with them especially bc im gay myself its not that easy to come out.
