The seme is a perfect gentleman and the uke graduates from being uncertain to being super sexy and a great lover.

So much whining and complaining. If the roles were reversed a lot of you would squeal about how a dramatic uke is so cute and relatable and a manly seme is so sexy. Sensei gives us a manly uke and a drama queen seme and there's hardly any appreciation for it.

I am kinda surprised myself at the negative comments. I personally loved this couple and loved the whole story! It nice to have real personalities and unique dynamics.

SemeFujoshi September 14, 2016 8:52 pm

Do all the students take turns doing sensei or something? Or is the same student?

SemeFujoshi August 17, 2016 3:59 am

Every time I read an excellent yaoi manga like this I notice the comments section inevitably has girls swooning over the seme - just the same reactions I find on should romance mangas, it's almost as if this isn't yaoi. It's almost as if girls only find the seme attractive and not the uke.

Steve is amazing, that's true :) Eric is my real hero here. Drop dead gorgeous, a brilliant scientist, was kidnapped and gang raped and forced to watch his colleagues die but still accepts the world as a beautiful place - he has so much inner strength. He deserves so much appreciation.

True; however, I personally only can read yaois with ukes I can stand instead of just looking at the semes.

Also, maybe that's because in yaois, the authors tend to make the ukes take on a much more feminine role (to the extent of having a male gender role, but still acting like what you would expect of the girl in romance mangas), so it isn't really different from reading romance mangas if we only look at the ukes (though there are few ukes that are different from the completely submissive kind). This could just be one factor.

    SemeFujoshi September 18, 2016 6:29 am

Yes that is definitely the factor. It upsets me when the whole culture is that ukes are treated as a stand in for female readers and receive little to no appreciation despite being drop dead gorgeous with captivating personalities.

*nods head solemnly* The uke is the make or break for me. I love the semes, but honestly, to me the whole point of yaoi is the uke. Or rather the seme-uke dynamic, shy receivers, power bottoms, or the seme-looking uke. If a female fan wants a story she could stand in for as the receiver, shouldn't she read straight romances? To be blunt, I sometimes find myself standing in for the semes... Despite the fact that I am a straight female myself.

We cant choose what we are atracted for, can we? Im a straight girl, Im really not attracted to the 'girly' uke kind (it also annoys me and I see it more often than i would like), so I guess its normal to be more attracted to the seme. I might not usually be atracted to the uke, but I relate to them more. And ukes like Eric that are strong, fearless, determined are awesome and in this manga it was what shone the most, what really kept me reading. PS.: my fav mangas are the one with ukes that I loved <3

Im a straight girl, but I cant stand the lack of hot scenes and the slow pace of romance and shoujo, thats why I read yaoi. And I love guys with a lewd face, can you imagine how much I love two doing it? (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ But I really dont like 'girly' ukes (doesnt turn me on, what can I do?), so I guess thats why Im usually more attracted to the seme. But I remember a few ukes that were hotter than the semes and that made me few like I wanted to have a penis lolol (≧∀≦)

Yeah, I can totally understand not being attracted to weak ukes, but Eric is the kind of uke who ought to make women wish they had a penis, lol XD Not weak or unattractive in any way.

True, except when it's a story where the uke is great and the seme is an asshole who treats the uke as shit. Those guys should just drop dead.

SemeFujoshi August 9, 2016 9:45 pm

Not only is Kamon Saeko's art really beautiful, but the uke here is really gorgeous. Anyone else feel themselves in love with him? Also I really appreciate how she draws the faces of the semes during sex - they show their passion and pleasure. Different from the expressionless semes one sees so often!

SemeFujoshi July 21, 2016 4:08 pm

Makoto is too cute and sexy - I'm so glad to have found this doujin!

SemeFujoshi July 14, 2016 7:59 pm

Yeah sure the seme is pretty hot but damn that AV actor is so beautiful!
