Aside from the fact that Marti’s behavior is controversial —to say the least—, seems the author is mostly focused on this type of fetishes, the main couple started because of some BDSM vision, so it’s only natural to see some more of these “odd” interests in the various characters. Anyway, only ok in fiction, be safe people! Say no, kick and bite! And/or don’t be a dick, ask for consent, trust is the most important part of these sexplorations.

There’s some uncanny valley effect with the art style, it’s like amazing and awful at the same time, I don’t know why. Still a good read though.
I know why. The more realistic the art is the prominent the disproportions are. It's much easier to hide slightly big hands or awkward hand placement with a more stylized drawing.
