Y’all it’s kind of wild but what if Guwon is actually behind all the chaos? What if like Sisyphus he’s also trying to prevent death altogether and the town itself is a symbolic representation of that attempt? We first see Guwon literally rising from the ground, almost like he came back from the dead and kinda like tricking death (which in Greek mythology is personified as Thanatos). Also Sisyphus was a cunning and manipulative king who exploited everyone for his own gain. And tan ta na nan ~ the townspeople are genuinely afraid of Guwon. But idk to me, at least on the surface, Guwon also seems friendly and positive but you know what they say one must imagine Sisyphus happy.

This is genuinely so creative and still fitting considering it's a zombie apocalypse setting... bcs usually the status quo with them is some guy gets infected and later on becomes borderline immortal, meaning that the "cure to death" is found accidentally by furthering the failed unethical experiments that started the zombie apocalypse in the first place... But instead of that, you could be suggesting that guwon himself is experimenting and instead of accidentally finding a cure to death he'll probs be experimenting on either himself or the townspeople to stop death from happening so that everyone can live quietly in the paradise that he's leading... Hmh...
