The son neglected by the mom, so his attitude still makes sense. and We all know from the backstory of the mom that mom was mistreated/neglected passive aggressively ( btw neglecting is one them as well ) by people in the mansion including her husband.No one support her while she needs the most! I mean sir husband knows that woman cannot work, so ofc in realistic way you are the BEST for her.
and also why would he confront her several years later and chose to neglected her in the first place?
As well as she treated him as THE BEST, he treated the mom as the only existence of her is only for giving a heir.
