Its a bit saddening to see popular yaoi authors call illegal readers roaches (iykyk), rotten, or say that they deserve to die despite writing themes or poverty in their story meanwhile yuri authors are so desperate for their work to be recognised that they turn to illegal readers to ask for help. Just shows a lot about how popularity gets to you and how big the gap is in yuri and yaoi popularity.

Looking for modern romance or fantasy romance recommendations. I accept everything! My favourite tropes are the following:

- Obsessive/possesive/yandere-esque male lead OR/AND female lead
- Regretful male lead and runaway FL (i like angst)
^ ML using FL as a stand-in/as a way to pass the time but falling for her
^ Kind FL who tries her best to receive ML's love but gets so tired of how trashy he is so she runs away (The Problematic Prince, ex. [I read it to hurt myself])
- FL who slowly goes mad because of her circumstances
- Puppy male lead
- Isekai/transmigration/time travel (you get the gist)

That said. I'll read anything and ALMOST anything because im BORED.

I'm not a big fan of how this ended up playing out. I feel like it would've been better if there were more chapters and if their characters were more fleshed out. I'm disappointed by how the author treated BDSM dynamics and how it ends up playing into rapey themes.
