Yes, same author/mangaka. In fact, it's interconnected. If I'm not mistaken they're connected by work place and there are another 2 leading characters for 2 different titles. So far we see the Aho (the previous one) and the Dead Inside (this one). We haven't seen the Thot and the Tsundere yet.
