i'm glad that my parents are a little open-minded but just like the parents in this manga, they also say some offensive things without thinking from time to time. i try my best to correct them by explaining why it's offensive, not sure if they understand but i hope they do. they still can't come to terms with me being in the aroace spectrum (their argument that everyone my age says that they won't marry but they do eventually) but oh well, it's fine if it takes time ig ╮(￣▽￣)╭
