From my understanding, I think Seo Yeonjin plans to die to destroy his father? However, there's Choi Moonhyuk who's not inside his plan. We see Moonhyuk get arrested for killing Seo Yeonjin but the police can't find the body or the evidence. So I think Seo Yeonjin didn't really die, and they will get together in the end.
