From the beginning, something intrigued me about this story: either the plot was illogical or the story was being told in half (in this case, just from Annette's angle). I'm reading the novel, but I won't give spoilers. I'll just say that it's worth giving it a chance and understand who is Heiner Waldemar.
I still can't understand the logic of pick up an old fight to make it a cause of scandal and humiliation for Jowoon at this point ... it would be more plausible for H's ex boyfriend to get evidence of the incestuous relationship, than the fight among teenagers that didn't even cause severe damage. And H's way of acting is somewhat suspect for me. I doubt that he will be so insensitive as to abandon Jowoon at time like this, knowing that, this all mess is only happening because of him and to perserve his image. They don't have a romantic relationship anymore, but still care about each other.
In the start, I saw T like an intruder, but now, i want him to be with H and to J grab this oportunity to move on and be happy to. He is stranggling for so long already! #-.-)
PS: i can't remember where is the ring J buyed for H.
If anyone here has read the novel (or not), could you clarify for me whether there was non-consensual intercourse between Princess Dodolea and Duke Theo?
I'm not sure about that. In chapter 66, when the Duke dreams about the meeting he had with the princess in the Palace, I got the impression that in addition to the sedative, an aphrodisiac was also used on him and Dodolea's speech about "wanting to have his child" plus the fact that she was on top of him and had time for doing whatever she pleased with him (we don't know how much time has passed), left me intrigued.
And this hypothesis intensified when, in chapter 81, the princess' servant tells the Duke that Dodolea gave him everything she had... did he were referring to Dodolea's virginity? Because I don't believe he knew that the princess's body was taken over by the spirit of a witch.
THIS IS INSANEEEEEE
I've read the novel and no. The whole story was from Perry's point of view so there was no mention of anything non-consensual happening between them.
This comic version is not the same person who wrote the original story, so it's best not to compare them too much.
I think it's pretty much implied that there was some kind of assault or grape that happened there. The fact that theo freezes whenever he's near the princess and abhors going to the palace confirms this
I don’t think it got that far Bc we got a flashback of him running away. Unless they disclose more I believe that was the reveal and the extent of it.
