I dropped this in ch60 bc ebony seemed weak and not that bright once she wasn't being actively supported by someone else (ML). did it get any better?
i don’t know what you consider to be weak but i would consider her very strong (although she does falter at times)
if you’re looking for a good revenge plot, this is not the story for you (at least so far). this is more about growth and healing. i like this story a lot because the creators gave time for this to happen “organically.”
so far, i think ebony is much more ambitious and has persevered. so yes, i think it got better.
thank you! perhaps I worded that wrong, she sure is strong af, but when the school thing started she seemed too innocent and couldn't really manage things by herself. of course she was hardly prepared, but I was a bit disappointed by how she was managing things (I dropped this a while ago though so it might not make sense to you rn, but I felt that at that point)
i gotta say, just continue reading it. She will get better at managing it and the story becomes more interesting after that point. I too had disbelief she could manage it well since she felt childish in her plans and ignorant on the outside view but it'll come in time.
