yea its not a very happy manhwathe artwork is very pretty but over time the author starts to make the mc look more childlike, and even during one of the sex scenes the ml makes a joke that it looks like hes fucking a child. the storyline is kind of interesting so ive continued to read it but tbh im not enjoying it at all anymore

They're in the middle of the third battle with northern alliance (the first battle is the wyvern aerial battle in Henituse territory, the second is the naval battle, and the third in the border).
Raon is in the middle of his first growth so Cale have to command the battle while protecting Raon.
But in the morning, after realizing Raon's condition, Cale have to inform the Crown Prince about the changes in their war strategies, but the conversation went like.

Cale (while hugging Raon who cuddled in the blanket) : His name is Raon, he's a dragon.
And the Crown Prince just went speechless.

In my mind, their conversation felt like
Cale : This is our child, his name is Raon.
Alver : ....what?

Actually there's a lot of heart to heart conversation between them before this moment. Especially during the war with Northern Alliance.

The manhwa didn't do justice for the novel.
I recommend you read the novel, because the translation and the writing is much better.
With a lot of comedy.

I don't remember the timeline if this is before or after your side, but the little details like alver thrusting that cale won't say anything about his roots or the little banters of him saying crazy bastard but still being worried about him or things like alver downright receiving every crap cale does and gives, like the mage tower and the dead mana, it's like he thinks it's a bother but he knows cale didn't do it with a bad mindset and so on. Afterwards you get the fact that alver has cookies and the like for cale and the kids when he comes unannounced and cale just sits in the crown prince office as if it's his home or the bits of insecurities alver shows from time to time for having elf blood and not being blond and white skinned as every king in roan and him wanting cale to not judge him and also knowing he won't and so on.

I remember (I don't know whether it's intentional or not) the narrator mentioned the future when they drink together at the bar reminiscing about the war.
