poor guy is gonna suffer over her having a ”husband” it will be interesting to see how they handle that or if she’ll just come clean about it

That's the point, there is no chemistry, she doesn't like him that way, it feels a little random tbh for him to like her. They have always seemed more platonic partners over anything romantic.
