Can someone please explain to me if the in their rebirth jis brother still raped him or did he stop? Because he said " I'm afraid that if I let the beast go (or smth which means unleash the beash or whatever that's what I understood if i remember correctly) brother will hate me (or smth like that, you get the idea), So I understood that in this life he wasn't raped by his brother? Plus, when he was asked if he had done it before, he said he knew it was hard (while remembering flashbacks of being raped by the emperor in his last life and not his brother in this life)) ? I'M afrais to know the truth but I still need to know
The brother raped him in current lifetime too, before he was sent into the labor camp, no question about it. There are mistranslations in the specific chapter where it happened, but if you look at the picture carefully, you'll see that the brother pinned him down & violated him from behind, to the point he broke his arm in the struggle (the same happened in the previous life). The brother was saying something like "a beast who had finally tasted the prey he had been lusting for all this time, cannot go back to become a human again". So there you go, more confirmation that the deed was done.
Yeah, now that you say that I see what happened. That's so sad, I wished since he was not raped in this life by the emperor, that maybe he wasn't raped by his brother too and that his fate had somehow changed in these two happenings. But I guess that had to happen for him to meet the emperor again in the first place.
Thank you for the explanation.
I think the author purposefully made the outcome to be this way, so the readers can make comparisons between the emperor & the brother. Both claimed that they loved him, & both initially made the same mistakes of forcing themselves upon him, hoping that with domination, came unconditional submission, & maybe eventually, something that resembled love that they had wished for. But when the end result was a tragedy in the first life, both men had the chance to learn from that experience, & perhaps, do better in the second life, which wasn't easy given they had no past memory in the beginning. But now we see the contrast in the second life, one man did slowly learn how to cherish the one he loved in the efforts to break the karmic cycle, while the other committed the same atrocity that would lead to history repeating itself. It's quite subtle, but the message is there. That's my take on it, anyway. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Yes! the way you put it makes it look much more beautiful in a way. I share the same opinion, loving someone is putting their best interest before one's self. The emperor learned that at the end of his first life and vowed never to repeat the same mistakes again. And in a way, he did! (Thank god he remembered lol) and the brother didn't tho we still have to see if the brother was also reborn or not, maybe he'll later remember his past life and we'll see if that will change him for the better like it did with the emperor l, or on the contrary, make him worst!
I really wanna read this but I'm scared :(
I'm the type to love happy endings, no deaths and no breakups/multiple partners yaoi, so is this my cup of tea ? I've seen a panel where they were talking about a dead character I believe? So I'm really hesitant about starting it.
i implore you to read it omg !!! It's really hard trying to explain it without spoilers but basically the main story is funny as hell and deals with angsty chapters quickly in a very chill, mature and sympathetic way (light spoilers : it always ends well). season 1 mainly drama-free !! season 2 focuses on the story of the supporting chataco so it's angsty but without it becoming a sob-story ! It's more like a mystery/detective story and you absolutely won't be disappointed with the ending bc it ties the two seasons and everyone's storylines so neatly. I can guarantee you it's one of the best manhwas out there. The humor is always present and top-tier, the love stories are so beautiful and the intimate scenes breathtaking, and the plot line is gripping and absolutely amazing !!
and now for the answers to your specific questions with slight spoilers ! If you want the full experience i recommend not reading my comment but of you want to be sure then here u go !

1. Everyone gets a happy ending and it's perfect (but season 2 is pretty eventful)
2. There's no major character death. The one people are talking about is from an extensive flashback in season 2 and it's up to the reader to decide to feel empathy for them, let's say they aren't a fan-favorite lol. Season 2 in general is a detective story so there's also the death of irrelevant extra characters but nothing tragic.
3. There's no outright break up but in season 1 the main couple has like one chapter where they're kinda in conflict but nothing too tragic. And in season 2 there's some physical distancing from the secondary couple because of external factors. But again, with a happy ending !
4. There's no multiple lovers but in season 1 there's an annoying ex that gets dealt with in a hilarious way, and in season 2 it's mostly the flashback where mc is in a sticky situation with the person he's tied to but is confused by the other mc's feelings and expectations of him. It's hard to explain and you could say the character is stuck between two figures of affection but it's nothing like cheating and it's dealt in a mature, compassionate way as i said earlier. I guess if you are iffy about the angst i'd consider not focusing on the flashback of diesel's story (it's more than a few chapters long). Hope you give it a read !
Omg if only there was an option to like all your comments!! Thank you so much, I'll start reading it right now and try to not feel too sad when the angsty chapters come. Just wanna say how much I LOVE YOU for this act of kindness (taking your time to explain everything (=・ω・=) ) THANKS A BUNCH ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Dudes....I just finished reading it ┗( T﹏T )┛ I feel emptyyyy what am I gonna do with my life now???
This was such a. beautiful read omg.
Just like @jiminbra said, I wish I could read it for the first time again and again. Thank you so much for encouraging me to read this masterpiece.
But I don't get it. Is it completed? The notes at the end said see you again? Means there's gonna be a season 3??
Anyone noticed how the cat hissed at the seme when he woke up from his dream?? Because, when he woke up (crying) his past life's personality had taken over. So the cat didn't recognize him, or rather, felt someone else's presence in him...then when he turned back into his normal self, when he and the uke came back home together...the cat welcomed him back by rubbing itself on his leg and being clingy again...
I CRIED
Well, you know they say animals can see/sense spirits. So even tho they were a reincarnation, they still had different memories, different lives...so in a way, they were still different people who lived different lives. I believe that's why it could feel, it was not its owner (I don't quite remember if the cat was the uke's or the seme's, but you get me lolz)
Well, tbh I don't believe in reincarnation but I always wondered why reincarnation was more like a punishment rather than a second chance at life ? It's weird, I would love to be reincarnated in the same life and I wouldn't take it as a punishment, even if my life sucked. It's like, having all these different options all over again and choosing the right one if you failed in your precious life. Do you get me? Anyways, answering your question, theoretically yes we would have all these memories jumbled in our minds lol and they would probably be SO had to differentiate from each other but I personally, wouldn't want to forget any of it. how about you?
Im not sure if I believe in reincarnation, but my mom does. Its basically like that, you reincarnate to purify your soul. So you basically are put under circunstâncias that will make your soul learn about mistakes you did in your previous life, as well as make the right choices. There is this religion where I live called spiritism, and according to them reincarnating isnt a punishment is more of a second chance and your soul choses to take that chance. Idk its beyond ny comprehension lmao
So if some of you didn't get it here is how it goes:
-Seme and Uke start living together overseas after their parents die (not blood related step brothers), because the uke was left behind with no other loving family member except for the seme who took him in.
-Uke probably started dorming or maybe just crashing with friends and returning home (to his brother) regularly? Once he was a college student. So then one day he came back home without notifying his brother and Saw him having sex with another dude (someone from his university). So he freaked out and ran away.
-The next day, he met with his brother's sex friend? Probably, or his Boyfriend at the time. This said SF/Bf knew that the uke saw them having sex last night because he saw him watching them from the cracked open door. So, jealous from how the seme probably doted a lot on his "little brother" and maybe treated him differently or may I say more affectionately than one would treat his younger bro (my guess), he said some mean things to push the uke away from the seme. He told him to stop mooching off of the seme's money and if he really loved him as a "real brother" he would stay away because he was making him miserable (total lie because he probably suspected the uke to have romantic feelings towards the seme which is why he emphasized on the "if you really love him as your real brother" part.
-Then, the uke thinking that he was being a heavy weight on his older brother and realizing that he loved his brother more than "just a brother", he ran away back to Korea!
-6 years after that, he met with the seme again. The seme who was looking for him desperately and obsessively for these past 6 years thinking that his "younger brother" saw him as "disgusting" after finding out that he was gay and seeing him having sex with another man and that's why he ran away from him leaving no sign. (He knew that the uke saw him having sex with that dude because the uke took or left his keys on the table that night)
- The uke thinking he had to distance himself from his brother, because he couldn't confess his feelings, did his possible to avoid him during his stay at the hotel. Especially when that mean Sex friend came looking for him in the hotel, he thought they were still together.
- That's why, when the seme found out that the uke made excuses and was lying to him just to avoid him, he made him his personal concierge so they can meet in the room. And after the confrontation they both confessed, and tho the uke didn't believe the seme loved him as more than just a brother, the seme made sure to show him he really did love him "that way" by having sex with him! And they showed that he had already broken up with that lying sex friend and was avoiding him.
-the seme probably liked the uke from the beginning but since he thought he should act as an older brother he didn't show his feelings, so the moment the uke confessed we see the smile on the seme's lips as if he was waiting to hear that for a long time.
So that's it! Any questions?
I mean, I've seen pretty much most of the comments hating on the seme so I've actually put this read off for a while, afraid I'd actually be disappointed?? But now I've read it and I don't understand why we must hate the seme all that much?
I mean, as far as I'm concerned the only fucked up character here is the mom. She seriously needs to see a psychiatrist and seek help before she ends up ruining her child even more than she already did.
I've felt a bit concerned by how the seme was so obsessed with the uke, but we can all pretty much agree that all teenagers at this age are obsessed with sex, especially if the one they love is looking sexy all the time in front of them and they can't touch them lmao.
I mean it's all up to the author here:
-Make the genre "comedy" and make the seme into the goofy obsessed with sex seme and we can all brush it off and call hin stupid in love.
-Make the genre a bit dark with heavy feelings and we hating on his teenage obsession ?
WHERE ON EARTH IS THE RAPE??
All I've seen is that Shii understood that his friend actually wanted to try "pleasure/sex" but something was keeping him from letting go. I agree the forced attempt was not necessary but I saw it as he was only pushing enough to make the uke let go of his fears and seek pleasure.
Then, the uke forgave him and he actually admitted that he wanted to try it but was too afraid because of the trauma caused by his mom, so he actually agreed to make the seme force him(let's put it this way cause he gave him the green light) so that he wouldn't feel as if he was asking for it. That's why Shii says: You can blame me, we can say it's all my fault and not yours. No one will know.
I believe this was the best way for him to understand that sex doesn't hurt the way he already built an image of it in his head (hearing his mom screaming NO STOP all the time).
And of course, as long as it's all fiction. I ADORE THIS WORK, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it's gonna develop beween the two, I just hope the author wouldn't add some unnecessary drama -_-.
Tho, if it was reality, the uke would need counseling even tho I imagined his state (trauma) would be far worse based on the comments.
Correct me if I'm wrong. And remember, with respect
This was so beautiful.
Even tho, I would have lived to know if there really had been an affair between the sister and the father, but the fact that it stayed as a mystery made it seem all the real. Because these things happen in real life, and only the dead ones are the ones who knew the secret and took it with them to their graves.
Tho, I believe that she really loved the doctor and if it really happened that the father fell in love with her after she became a grown woman and divorced his wife to marry her, then I believe she only accepted him to be able to offer to her brother a suitable life. I believe there was no romantic affair but that she might have only accepted him after he had already divorced his wife (his own choice). Because the rings were a sign that there was going to be an engagement/marriage.
As for our main protagonists, I hated how in the beginning the seme kept hurting the uke even tho he had nothing to do with the whole thing, but it just reflected the reality of how some people focus their hate and revenge on the closest thing they find related to the main thing that caused them pain.
The fact that his hate and torment (towards the uke) was exchanged with ignorance and coldness (by the uke), made all that frustration turn into lust and twisted interest. He tried everything to make the uke show interest in him even if it meant he would hate him the same as he (the seme) hated him (the uke). But once that facade of coldness that the uke showed was broken and all the demons were out, it shocked Jeff (the seme) so much to see that someone who looked so cold, beautiful and fragile was hiding such a dark universe inside of him and the fact that he played a big part in hurting him even more, made him pity him and somehow try to repent for his past mistakes.
Then, the more the two of them spent time with each other, the more they learned to know the real other and truly accept all the good and bad points which ended by them falling in love.
I have to admit that I didn't cry untill chapter 103 and 103. Boy did those two chapters break my heart. Especially when I imagined the author could have chose to end the whole story there, which would make the story a truly dark and heart wrenching one. Thank god he had mercy one us.
I love how the seme never gave up or got tired of the uke and how the uke finally got up on his two feets and chose to live a better life even if it meant living it alone. That showed that he wasn't dependent on the seme anymore, he truly wished to become better even alone. That was the biggest sign or recovery in my eyes amd how they both trusted each other enough to wait for each other to clear all their problems to finally meet again. That was a true bless and they both needed that time to focus on their lives and choose the right path to take.
A truly beautiful and realistic story <3 let's of course not forget their supporting friends! And I wish there would be extras continuing the doctors' story!
Show a sign if you read till the end and tell me if you agree ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Hello, can you please answer some of my questions? I really want to read this but I'm too scared of it so if you can help me please?
I want to know if the uke sleeps with any other man other than the seme, if he has relationships other than witht the seme? Also for the seme.
And I hope the uke didn't have feelings for the seme's father or any thing cause it seems to happen a lot in this kind of mangas.
Tell me please that there won't be any forced drama, thank you.
So...I wanna read the novel after reading/watching Mo dao zu shi and many other danmei novels and watching Heaven's official blessing. I wanna know:
if this is worth it? As in, if I compare it with what I've read I won't be disappointed I hope? Since I'm not a fan of transmigration into games-set worlds and stuff like that.
If the novel is completed?
And if it has smut? And is it a happy ending? I don't want them to separate once the levels are completed or something since it's kind of a video game setting...
It's a happy ending don't worry shen stays with luo at the end and decided not to return
Bonus:
The creator of the novel where shen transmigrated was also transmigrated to the Novel
Thank youuuuuu I'll give it a go
SPOILERS
The novel has a happy ending, like the reply said. It also has smut but it is at the end and it isn't as detailed as Mo Dao Zu Shi. He never goes back to his world because that would GAME OVER. The prompts make it funnier if anything. I recommend it. The characters are pretty complex and things tie in nicely like in MDZS
I'll definitely read it once I'm done with Hua hua you long and Husky and his dumb cat Shizun...these two are a handful (Rollercoasters) even tho they don't even compare lol thanks for answering tho
No problem :) I hope you enjoy it if you do read it!
