So at the end of the chapter it’s revealed that lady who was Jake’s boss is in cahoots with that senator who’s in cahoots with Ross and them.
She’s asking for a bigger slice of the pie for taking Jake off the mission.
The chapter ends with Jake seemingly overhearing his former boss’ talk with the senator.

I thought the guy was the big boss of the CIA I couldn't be more wrong. I came here to complain about Gren being officially dead. I still had a doubt up until today's update. Well, I guess is just the two of them and no one else from now on
I used google translate so it may not be super accurate, but that is the gist of it (I might have confused the senator, but it’s definate a big fish).
So overall he seems like a genuinely good guy, but also a very passionate one if we go by how he got rid of that “maggot” so fiercely.
That makes me think that his affection for the the teacher (forgot his name right now) might make him act out in not so nice ways.
Hopefully by being with the teacher he learns about things before his feelings of affection overwhelm him.
I don’t think he’s necessarily a bad guy, but a big kid. The thing is that kids can be very cruel because of their naiveness.
The only other series by this artist I’ve read is Hyanghyeon Text and there are no babies there, so does she always draw babies this stylized, or is it just an artistic decision for this series to drive home the fact that he’s not quite human?
He’s cute in a weird way though.
This is a pretty good intimate scene. It’s not just about the sex, which is nice to see.

I have a working hypothesis.
Nightmare exploits your worst nightmares, Taegun was tagged by Nightmare, Jaeha’s power makes it impossible to differentiate truth from lies, so I’m thinking Taegun is going to end up trapped in Nightmare where all his horrible memories with Jaeha will be on display for all to see finally exposing that POS. And since Taegun is a national hero, nobody will think less of him for what Jaeha did.
Nor do I care for them in my fiction, yet when I saw him cry over his book, I couldn’t help feeling so bad for the lil thing.
