i remember reading the translator's note on the first chapter (i've read it on another website) and he/she said, "it's not going to be a pleasant read, but i hope it inspires everyone to keep on going no matter how tough life gets" and that freaking tugged my heart. i cried on some chapters since i was so frustrated. the part where the female lead cried in the shower was so painful and heartbreaking.

i've already read some spoilers from the novel and i must say a lot of bad things will still happen. i kind of also feel bad (a tiny bit) for fu since he actually really fell for the fl. and,,,his greatest downfall was that the fl never loved him back. i'm not quite sure with what happened at the ending but i'm sad for fu since (i think everyone's personality evolves for a reason) it's just that fu really grew up in a bad enviroment and suffered earlier.
