I keep reading the ML’s name as “Scoundrel” for some reason. Might be because I’m sleep deprived? But how do you pronounce his name? Sour-a-del? Sou-ra-del? Help! Lol
Also, as someone who usually wants two dudes to end up together in a non-BL story. This one is just not one of those. Like why would you want the duke to be with the emperor, even as a joke? Don’t do that to the duke. He didn’t do anything to be punished like that.
One father is enough, and it’s not the emperor. The only family Shuelina needs is the duke and his two brothers. The prince too, I guess. The emperor can join the empress and her “daughter”, and die for all I care.
Why does that empress got a lot of shit done, while that useless emperor haven’t done anything despite having the authority to do so. All he (and his son) does is pester Shuelina, and try to selfishly take her away from her family, when he can’t even protect her. He only put her in more danger because of his stupidity.
If the empress wasn’t so evil and a bitch, I might’ve wanted her (beside the duke) to be the one ruling instead. She knows how to get things done, unlike the emperor who couldn’t do anything right. Like how can an emperor be both incompetent and powerless? How can he be so incapable of figuring things out, and not be aware of what’s going on around him?
The duke might just as well be the emperor at this point.
Is that emperor really just stupid? Or he just somehow trusts that bitch of an empress enough, for him to not suspect her of being the one behind it all? But I don’t think that the latter is the case. He’s cautious of her, right?
Does he really need to hear it from the duke and Shuelina directly, for him to finally know who the culprit is?
Even if he say that he is being careful of not jumping to conclusions. How can he just announce that Shuelina is her daughter? Exposing her from all kinds of danger. If he seriously didn’t think about that, that there are people who want to cause harm to Shuelina. Then what right do you have left for you to call yourself her father.
You were led to believe that your child with the late empress was a boy. And that “he” died. Now that you find out that you were lied to. It didn’t even cross your mind that someone might do anything bad to Shuelina, if the people who didn’t want you to find out about her, get to know that you discovered about her existence.
And you want to take Shuelina away from her family against her will! Even when you see that she’s very much happy with them.
That’s why I don’t want him to be a part of Shuelina’s life. I also want to exclude the prince, but he hasn’t done anything wrong in this timeline. So I guess he deserves a chance. Even though I hated how he treated Shuelina in the previous timeline.
I know that he (and the emperor) might have been manipulated or whatever back then. And that you can’t hold it against them. When they have no memories about it, and that they haven’t done any of it yet. But I just find the both of them annoying. Maybe because I just can’t get over about the things they’ve done to Shuelina in the previous timeline.
Also. What was the emperor even doing when his wife was in labor? What did he even do when someone said that their child died? Did he even bother to check it himself? Your wife and child just died! Seriously, what was going on with him that day.
I just can’t take those so-called knights (and the church) seriously. They try to act all high and mighty, but they always end up looking like a bunch of fools.
Like that one knight from the previous dungeon. He really thought that he did something. Do they really think that they are all that just because they’re from the church?
Now, they wanted some brief explanation and precautions before entering the dungeon. Ailette tells them to just be quiet when they enter, and this blonde shit shouted as soon as they arrived. (I know his reaction is valid. I’m just hating on him and the knights because they suck. Along with the people that I’ve seen from the church.)
The only decent people from the church along Terry, are his friends and the cardinal grandmother. Is there anyone I forgot?
Honestly, if there’s going to be romance between different species here, it’ll be between Theo and Iona only and no one else. Forgetting the fact that Theo’s a cat and Iona’s a hamster(?). Their interactions and reactions to each other is just… (ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I just really like their dynamics. I know their kind of dynamics exist. I just can’t think of an example.
Also, I just don’t get wanting Yayul to be the ML. Yes, he’s a different person from the Yayul in the previous timeline. And it’s not fair to hold it against him. But it is all thanks to Yeon that Yayul is what he is now. And Yeon took him in, with the intention of avoiding her fate of being killed by him again in the future.
And sure. She might even consider him a friend of hers now, as they formed a bond while staying together. She might even think that the Yayul she knows now is a different person from the Yayul she knew from the previous timeline.
But the fact that Yeon remembers everything, up until the moment of her death. I just don’t see her being romantically involved with Yayul ever.
I know that most of us are here for the father and daughter’s wholesome bonding moments. But I think that we’re forgetting the fact that they’re basically strangers before her regression.
Yeon’s father was absent in her life in the previous timeline. She needed to be regressed, for her to be the one to take the initiative to reach out to her father. For them to have the relationship that they have now. From what I remember, they both thought that the other person hated them.
As a parent, Yeon’s father should’ve taken the first step to communicate with her, even if he thinks that his daughter hates her. At least talk to her first, before making any conclusions. So that they can resolve any misunderstandings or problems they have with each other. He should’ve also shown Yeon that there is someone in their household that she can trust. Someone that can make her feel comfortable, safe, and loved.
I’m not going to blame Yeon’s father too much. As the current him is up there when it comes to being a father in a father and daughter manhwa. I just think that he doesn’t know how to be a good parent, or be a parent just in general before. But I think that it’s also a given to interact with your child. And show and make them feel that you care as a parent.
I don’t know what was my point of writing all of this. I guess that it’s the parents’ job to guide and be present, more so in their child’s early life. Good for Yeon and his father to have the chance to fix their relationship. But we don’t have that kind of opportunity in real life. We just regret and only think of “what if” when it’s too late.
This story’s piece of shit of a ML is the root of all the misunderstandings.
From the “oh-so-pitiful” blonde bitch being delusional, because the ML didn’t set up boundaries even after being in a relationship with the MC. To making the MC feel like a substitute, because the ML always has the time whenever the blonde bitch needs him.
Thinking about how the ML’s friends who are just as shitty as him badmouths and mocks the MC on a daily basis. And him not doing anything to stop them. The ML ignored the MC even after his “death”. Then he saw a “lookalike” of the MC and started harassing the said lookalike because he believes that he is the MC.
But why though? He did not care about the MC before, and now he suddenly do? You’re going to make us believe that he loves the MC all this time, and everything was just a misunderstanding.
He didn’t even give a reason for why he just watched and let his fucking friends treat the MC like trash. He only managed to give the MC some of the most stupid excuses for everything else.
What did the MC see in the ML in the first place? He looks like shit, his personality is shit, his friends are shit, him trying to get back with the MC is shit, his excuses are shit, everything about him is shit. Like give me something good about him besides being rich…

Is it bad that I am all for the uncle destroying the MC’s family. Like I’m rooting for the uncle more than the MC at this point. Because I get where the uncle is coming from, and I don’t mind seeing the family’s downfall. Screw the brother, no character redemption for the twins (or whatever they are supposed to be) and let them be shitty as they are, and just death to all the people who made the uncle the way he is right now.
But for the sake of the MC who deserves all the good things and happiness in his second life, the family needs a major reformation. I don’t know how, but they really need it because look at what the family did to the uncle. I guess remove the elders first, and give them the chop? Idk
Do we really need an ML though? It might just be me, but I find it hard to see that Yayul kid to be the ML because he killed the MC before. I know that he hasn’t done it yet in this timeline. And he’s already becoming a different person to what he used to be, thanks to the MC’s influence. But to be romantically involved with the person who killed you is… Why?
Also, that bratty little bitch as an ML is another reason to not have one at all. People can change, but he’s being annoying since he appeared, so no. I love him becoming a slave to his feelings for MC, and being humbled real bad though. Lol

Okay, he claims not to know how to love. So what? Why can’t he try to at least care more for MC, rather than focusing his attention to that sickly blonde bitch. Yes, he saved your life or whatever (if that is even true), but you have a lover, and you should know where to draw the line to not have any misunderstandings. But I’m expecting too much from a ML in a BL manhua.
Also, what’s with the blindfold and his reason for it? I can maybe understand the “scared of kissing”, but blindfold, really?
What’s up with BL manhua authors and their love for this kind of stories? They love to make the MC miserable, and they especially love to give trashy MLs redemption that they don’t deserve. Is there a big audience for this type of “genre” for them to be making this shit left and right? Just curious.
Cedric finally made an appearance once again! I think that most of us agree that he should be the ML. It’s either him, or no one at all. He’s everything you want in a ML, so why not him instead.
And quite honestly, I really like the idea of the duke and the crown prince ending up together. I’d like to see how toxic they can be to each other. Imagining that they’re always fighting for domination is kinda hot, ngl. Lol
Can I just say, Teratonia looks so majestic. I mean all the elemental lords are. But she just has the best design, and she also just exudes mother energy. They are honestly the best version I’ve seen of elemental spirits in a shoujo manhwa so far.
What went wrong with this story for it to end up as it is now. It’s a shame that I like the duke appearance-wise, but that’s unfortunately the only thing good about him. To think that he might be the ML, when he’s just another typical red flag in BL.
The prince also had some questionable moments, although not as bad as the duke. But I can’t make myself to root for him instead, just because he’s the “better” option we got to really see so far. Still, he at least respects the MC’s boundaries for the most part. I just don’t like the fact that he has a fiancé, yet acts obsessed towards Maythan. Like I saw a comment reminding me that he’s engaged, and I forgot about that part. I know that they have no romantic feelings for each other, but it’s still not a good look.
Honestly, it’ll be easy for beast guy to win Maythan’s heart when his rivals are those two. I know that he’s a good guy, so I don’t want any character assassination for him. I’m waiting to see him soon and hopefully that he’ll be a better presence around Maythan.
