She would have stayed in the frontiers, made friends with the other nurses, built a support system, ACTUALLY HEALED, maybe build a relationship with Ryan and had a good quite life! While ML learns from his mistakes, watches her live from afar and eventually meets a sad, lonely ending.

I know she’s probably gonna get back with ML and this was all for that but….
Even if she reconciled with ML, he should have came to the front lines to protect/reconcile with her, not force her to be somewhere HE wants her to be, she will only have HIM in that environment (Ryan is ML’s subordinate so he can’t shit) and he has power over her AGAIN.
He’s trash and he should be put in the garbage as such

So the empress and the Duke were arguing because the empress said she was gonna use Leslie to grab the poisonous flower (shed die) so the empress can use it to threaten anyone in the way of her son being king. She's actually planning on using the other sister Eli tho? (I think.) For some reason the high priest has a hard on for Leslie and set a trap for her to try and trick her. The poor girl has sever trauma after being also sacrificed multiple times. So she's gonna be a little worried. Its only been 4 years. I hope this helps...
