It's been a long time since I read the novel so I don't remember well. But what I can say for sure the girls never saw each other again !

Honestly the bar for romance male leads is so far down the bar descended to hell. Either a egotistical bastard with the emotional maturity of a brick because he's a Northern Duke or a tyrant emperor or a Magic tower Master or a mercenary turned War hero or a "obsessive" yandere whiny bitch that's basically a stalker rapist in a shell of a handsome face (they are not even that handsome these days)
