Agree, but I'd like to precise that since he has everything already he doesn't need more wealth or power, and so it's in a way easier for him to choose an orphan like Leila bc he has the power to do so. She is the only thing that he wants and couldn't get otherwise, and the question is to what extend he's willing to go for her. (I've read spoilers)

but the story itself features some topics that are hard to tolerate. i don't think the story has enough angst and despair to make someone cry, unless you cry when you read stories that heavily feature sexual assault
but the fmc stays determined throughout. she's pretty competent in general and i also think she's a good character with believable reactions
one other thing to mention is that the smut is creative and unique, and stands out from many other r18 smut manhwas/novels. although while it's enjoyable in a story context, some parts can be terrifying if they happened in real life
still worth a read if you like dark romance
