I hate how Mei chose satomi instead of satoshi even though the one he really loved is the bro. If he didn't, none of this would've happened :(
from my POV he loved the bro but he started to love now the new "sato" . his love for the bro would have always been shadowed by the death of the sister.the twisn will always be special in his heart but i think its best to start "new", even if all the couples started bad with lies , revenge and dishonest feelings.akira and satoshi "deserve " each other and mby together they r better ppl.mai and misato evne so started with lies too seems for me more liek a couple which might make it , bc the still foudn attachment even after they said the "truth".
Everyone keeps saying they feel bad for Misato but I think satoshi has it worse . I don't think satoshi dated Akira just to snatch him away from Misato! Akira was the one who confessed to satoshi and satoshi agreed to make mei jealous. So, satoshi isn't the bad guy here. If anything, I think he's the most miserable out of all! The one person he truly loves won't date him because of guilt , moreover he started dating someone else for real and is getting over him. Misato and mei will find their happiness eventually , Akira is a jerk so I don't think he's that serious about Satoshi. Satoshi on the other hand lost his sister and the only person he has ever loved.
Satoshi was jealous to see Misato's hapyness like he was jealous about his sister's hapyness and he was somewhat relieved to see someone more desesperate than him when he dates Akira not only to make mei jealous but Misato did the same thing by using Mei. So he knows what Misato is feeling and in the end Satoshi is aware that his action was wrong. He found solace in Akira's arms.
Yes he was jealous. Can you blame him? That doesn't make him a bad person! He wasn't the one who took his sister's happiness. Mei simply didn't love her but loved Satoshi. Satoshi did nothing wrong. He was jealous but he didn't even confess or do anything to make his sis miserable. She chose to kill herself because Mei didn't love her. He also didn't take Mistao s happiness , He didn't even know about him at first, he was simply trying to get over Mei by going out with someone knew, all he did was accept Akira's confession. Him feeling relieved after seeing Mistao s dispair is a human feeling. I don't think a person should be judged for their feelings but for their actions. Despite everything Satoshi didn't do anything to harm anyone. After all the horrible things he's been through can you blame him for his thoughts? Especially ones he didn't act upon?
Sorry but he knew Akira was his lover (shisato said his lover is a boy) and he dated him knowing they will break up. You should read the story with Shisato's point of view when he blames himself for what he has done because he wanted his sister and Misato feel the same pain and not support their hapyness.
I think Chisato was not aware of what he has done until Misato gave him his own medicine by dating Mei "did It affect him that much ?" He felt the same shock or pain when Misato saw them together.
So he was thinking than taking someone else's hapyness will help him to find his own. I agree Akira is not interested in Misato but Chisato shouldn't date him, he dit it only because his lover was a man like him and he portraited his sister's hapyness in Misato. Why others are allowed to be happy and not me?
His definitely aware of what his doing...
Its just people are stupid...
They feel better if they saw someone who is more hurt than them..

And fuck you akira XD
satoshi is a jerk and akira too , they deserve each other. satoshi saw misato beeing happy and didnt want him to be happy so he stole akira ! if u read the story he even said it himself.but karma bites u in ur "ass" bc he saw revenge coming but couldnt rly do anything.
Satoshi repeated his evil: he wanted to make his sister suffer, then he wanted to make Misato suffer. Both times, he just made Mei turn farther from him.
It doesn't matter that Akira was gonna eventually dump MIsato. What matters is that Mei didn't do anything wrong and the sister didn't do anything wrong and until he was betrayed, even Misato didn't do anything wrong. The long chain of events were all Satoshi and Akira.
Satoshi was the destroyer. His envy, his jealousy, his desire to see others suffer caused suffering for EVERYBODY.
That you defend him is not justified in the story. You just want to defend him.
In the end, everyone but Akira suffered, which is a shame. I wish he'd had something awful happen to him, saying to a person they were "a substitute and I don't need you anymore." What an ass.
Mei fell in love with the sister and the sister with him. They did nothing wrong. But because Satoshi couldn't have what he wanted, he took what belonged to others (or tried). Always, it ended up in pain. So, yes, while he is sympathetic for his pain--we'd all feel pain if we were not able to have the person we love, but that shit happens, sister or no sister, there is no guarantee we'll be loved back. He always chose to do wrong and cause pain. Take the spotlight.
He's gonna be okay now, eventually, but he's not a good guy. He's understandable, but he's not good. He may become better if we extrapolate that he finally learned that his jealousy/envy has to be controlled or it destroys hearts.
Age gaps are good , but only if both are adults ! Otherwise it makes me uncomfortable
oh I definitely know that this is romanticizing pedophilia and I'm really happy about it ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ you know that kind of kink isn't so bad, because it mingle two of my guilty pleasure : fluffiness and little kid, sometimes I prefer that to plain shota that are just hentai... and please don't say this kid is manipulated... have you seen his seme ? this guy is a 15 years old in his head... so yeah unrealistic, stupid and immoral, but still super cute (▰˘◡˘▰)
sorry I didn't mean to be this aggressive... in fact I understand what you mean but I just think most readers aren't oblivious to the pedophilia, they're just happy about it (⌒▽⌒)
oh and strictly speaking it's called ephebophilia (and it only is if seme-chan dump uke-kun once he is 20... wich I hope he won't)
I though this mangas was like the first one. this one is a spin off. the first one the father manipulated the brother into that. this one the kid was the aggressive one. but he did what he learned from his father, so. pedophilia and ephebophilia is the same. just age predilections, in general they are called pedophiles. attraction to kids. as someone who worked in human rights for more than 15 years and dealt with sexual crimes. it's a real problem the romanticizing of this crap. but I'm not going to even bother to explain why to people that are naive about the problem of this.
If anything this manga is using all efforts to refrain from being seen as such. He's drawn to look like high schooler and acts mature for his age, taking the lead as if he is the experienced one. Remember they could have drawn him to like a ten year old. He wasn't manipulated into it either.
Pedophilia is an attraction towards children, period. These two are obviously gay or bisexual in the least. The uke isn't out there hunting children. He was attracted to the seme's father in the prequel and had little interest in his children. He hated them both.
I didn't like it. It feels like it lacks something but I can't figure out what.
The art is so beautiful though.
I think I was confused most of the time.
probably the lack of knoledge on the dad and the ukes backstory- It's clear he had some things going on with a few guys we met here and there and it's also clear the father did as well. The uke was clearly loyal to the seme though and had clearly been in love with him for sometime- As he says. But when did it start? When he was a child or [erhaps it was that one glimpse we had of him with a girl- Maybe it clicked in then. Had the seme ever thought of him as something else before? There's just some things that are left out that most mangas cover even if they are just fleeting.
I agree :o I felt left out most of the manga. And some of the bubbles actually confused me as to who was talking (that might just be me heheh) it took me a bit to figure out everyone's names too. o-O I couldn't really tell until the last cover. And they never mentioned the store name, or maybe I missed it??
The characters (main) are rlly cute <3 but it lacked depth and knowledge that I've seen even in cliche stories. Cute tho. But I wouldn't read again ^^
I was thinking the same, the plot is quite interesting but the flow and storyline are a little bit messed up
