The author could have made this a thing where MC doesn’t fall in love with ML and just ended up being stuck with him in a mentally unstable Stockholm syndrome type of thing but yk everything can’t be good in the world and there are all types of gooners out there who eat this up but like hey yk whatever pays the bills
