I heard rumors like that years ago. They were mostly caused by technical issues. From what I know, there is no proof of this claim.
I advise all to inform others to keep information about this website secret and not to post any screenshots taken from here. Managago did get into a few legal issues due to people taking the content from here and posting it on Instagram, where people could see it.
Perhaps someday the website will be taken down, that's a possibility, and if/when that happens, I will lose a part of myself.

Yes this website is illegal and if too many people know about it it will get taken down forever trust me. As someone who has read manga and manhwa since I was in the 4th grade and there where so many websites that were taken down that I’m sure old readers will never forget to this day. Even the most legit ones that literally had their own app had gotten taken down. o(╥﹏╥)o
