You should read novel it's better describes there, situation looked like that - his girlfriend, who he date for some time already, is naked and doesn't protest when he starts touching her, neither she ever explained what happened to her before, he is normal guy who just want to have sex with the girl that he love. Don't forget that this story is from her perspective, that why we understand how she feel.
we'll I didn't read the novel but still comes of as a little creepy. Maybe cuz of the visuals but u can clearly see she's in some form of distress. If my partner girl or guy was naked in shock and telling me not to go, my first thought wouldn't be lemme sleep with them. He clearly knows that she is struggling with some form of ptsd clearly shown in the early chapters but seems to disregard it when his dick is up. I can see how maybe i the novel it would be lighter than in a perspective in which can clearly the shock can be seen. Still don't like him no matter what tho, hahaha.

I understand that perspective. Because a lot of things look different from like the main character but can be totally different if seen in the villains perspective. I get the charming appeal of Li Lei, I did root for him a lot in the beginning but I just want our baby to be a lil less away from men. Like she just escaped from Pei and is trusted into a whirlwind all over again. Just want her to have some tea and chill, listen to music. One problem with Lei is his fam tho, if his fam wasn't batshit crazy I'd root for them a lil more.
She will be happy at the end, of course it's Chinese drama so it will takes like 1000 chapters or more with all shitty sytuations and stupid people that don't even use their brain to think, but she will be happy and come on Li Lei put his life on the line for her, if she die he will die as well, everybody makes mistakes... (▰˘◡˘▰)

Im really happy to hear that she will be happy at the end, she deserves at least that.
